Verdict: 'M:I-3' is a glossy, high-octane action thriller ... but then, before you'd even gone into the theatre you would have guessed that! Built around some rather pulse-pounding stunts, this wickedly sweet plotline - what there truly is of it anyway! - becomes gratifyingly clever come the end of the flick. But, that only leaves us with close to two hours worth of questions though as Cruise and co. take the massive amounts of frenetic violence to a whole new level. And, though dated and unsophisticated compared to the much cooler Bourne spy thrillers, 'M:I-3' will probably hit the sweet spot at the box-office - and give Cruise a whole new reason to start jumping on couches!
