Verdict: "FD3' is an escalating contest of can-you-top-this brutality, with each death staged as the final link in a Rube Goldberg chain reaction. But, of course you knew that before you either watched the film or read this review! And yes it still delivers a certain degree of over-the-top amusement, but where it lacks the novelty of the first; the panache of the second, 'FD3' funnels down to be nothing short of a desultorily plotted affair that feels less like a thriller than a homicidal checklist! In short, 'FD3' is a popcorn-at-home rental at its very, VERY best!
