'The Constant Gardner'
(Ralph Fiennes, Rachel Weisz, Danny Huston, Bill Nighy, et al / R / 95 mins / Focus Features)

Overview: When activist Tessa Quayle (Weisz) is found murdered in Northern Kenya, her widower, Justin (Fiennes), suspects that she had been having an affair. As Justin begins investigating Tessa's death, he uncovers a conspiracy involving pharmaceutical companies in the United States and the local Kenyan government.

Verdict: Quite simply put, this is one of the year's best films. Do not think for a second that this film will bore you as it is breathtaking in its cinematic scope, is riveting in its tension, and is pulsating in its nervy moments. 'The Constant Gardener' is a smart, beautiful piece of storytelling that is smart, serious, and adult, and definiely leaves you with a sense of warmth for your own safety come the final frames.
