'Shaun of the Dead'
(Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Kate Ashfield / R / 92 mins / Rogue Pictures)

Overview: A 30-something Londoner with no real ambition in life realizes how much his girlfriend means to him when the dead rise from their graves.

Verdict: Britian's 'Shaun of the Dead' is a gleefully gory, pitch-perfect parody of George Romero's zombie films with social satire is so dead-on!! A drop-dead-funny comedy, 'Shaun of the Dead' is an ultra sharp, witty nightmare comedy that proves there's still life in the dead! Leave it to the Brits to find the joke in being gobbled by zombies! This truly engaging zombie movie spoof yields ironic dramatic dividends from the very first frame. Do NOT miss out on seeing this movie as you will laughing about it for many, many months to come ... until the DVD is released and then you'll be laughing at all the stupid outtakes, me thinks!!
