'The Other Side of the Bed '
(Ernesto Alterio, Paz Vega, Guillermo Toledo / R / 114 mins / Sundance Channel)

Overview:Two couples, four lovers, and bed-swapping; that's the story behind this sex-filled Spanish hit. Javier (Ernesto Alterio) lives with Sonia (Paz Vega), but he's having an affair with Paula (Natalia Verbeke), who has just dumped Pedro (Guillermo Toledo), who happens to be Javier's best friend and also is sleeping with Sonia. Complicated, no? Sí. Tension mounts when all the lies are revealed.

Verdict: 'The Other Side of The Bed' could well be the most sex-infused movie musical ever made! Diverting, if overlong, the film successfully blends hip and corny to such a euphoric level that come the end of the movie it's plainly taken a winning idea and driven it directly into the ground!! For what should have been a smart, sprightly little movie with beguiling actors and few inhibitions, is now a comfy, pleasingly entertaining movie that is quickly forgettable and at times, even perhaps both lame and inane!
