George Clooney Is Engaged to Amal Alamuddin!
Never say never!
George Clooney, Hollywood's most eligible bachelor, is going to be a married man once again.
The Oscar-winning actor, 52, is engaged to wed 36-year-old British lawyer Amal Alamuddin. It seems that the two dined at Japanese restaurant Nobu in Malibu, California, on Thursday, and that Alamuddin was seen flashing her (undoubtedly impressive) ring to Clooney friend Cindy Crawford.
Clooney and Alamuddin were first photographed together having dinner in London back in October. At the time, Clooney shot down stories he was dating Alamuddin or any other women for that matter. Later, however, the two were seen in New York; L.A.; Washington, D.C.; the Seychelles; and on a Safari in Tanzania.
The newly engaged couple have a lot to talk about: two areas of law that Alamuddin specializes in are international law and human rights. The philanthropic Clooney has an interest in both. He was arrested last year for protesting in D.C. about human rights in Sudan and became a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, a nonpartisan think tank, in 2010.
