'Bryan Loves You' ... Masking The Truth!

FAKE MASKS used to spook 'BRYAN LOVES YOU' team!

Telling filmmakers to “STOP!” in video; Landau Motion Pictures posts it online to expose perps!

A single disc was mailed to the Landau Motion Pictures P.O. box this week containing a :10 video clip of an unidentified individual sporting a phony Bryan mask. Also in the package: a note reading: “We’ll do what we can to steal your thunder. We can make masks just like you.” LMP media liaison Jeff Buckner says “We posted the video online because we want to let whomever these people are know that we’re not going to run from such behavior.”

The video was posted to:

Says 'Bryan Loves You' writer/director Seth Landau: “This isn’t the first time we’ve encountered controversy from on-lookers. As per usual, we’re going to keep going about our business.” During last summer’s shoot in Phoenix, a phony casting call was planted in The Arizona Republic and was subsequently reported on by Page Six. During post-production, several short clips from the dailies were stolen from the lab and posted online. Most recently, a group calling themselves The Right Phoenix, in a missive, demanded the producers bury the movie, lest it reveal too much. “If we somehow touched on a nerve, maybe that’s a good thing. Maybe more people will want to see the movie,” says Landau, “But we certainly aren’t afraid of anonymous mailers.”

Newly signed to Shoreline Entertainment, who’ll represent the movie for all Worldwide sales, 'Bryan Loves You' tells the story of a cult that took over an Arizona town in 1993. Stars include George Wendt (“King of the Ants”), Tony Todd (“Candyman”), Tiffany Shepis (“Abominable”) and Daniel Roebuck (Rob Zombie’s “Halloween”). Called an “Orwellian nightmare for the YouTube generation,” a world premiere is in the works and an announcement about that will be made soon.
