The series’ original music, composed by George Fenton (Gandhi, Cry Freedom, In Love and War) and performed by the BBC Concert Orchestra, is a vibrant, rich selection of score pieces written for each of the 11 episodes.

Several score pieces from the Emmy-winning series have been collected for Planet Earth: Music By George Fenton, released last month by EMI America Records in a 2-CD package.
