Win Roger Corman DVDs ... TODAY!

No doubt about it, 'Death Race 2000' is one of the greatest B-movies ever made! A crown jewel in the career of B-movie king Roger Corman, it's a sublime example of exploitative filmmaking from a time when Corman's low-budget quickies were about to be swept aside by the blockbuster success of Jaws and Star Wars, and all of its outrageous ingredients combined to create a schlock-movie masterpiece. Liberally infused with director Paul Bartel's macabre sense of humor, Corman's mandatory formula for success is zanily applied to a near-future scenario in which a fascist empire appeases its oppressed citizens with "Death Race 2000," an automotive spectacle in which five costumed racers drive wacky race cars cross-country from New York to "New Los Angeles," scoring points with hit-and-run killings awarded on a sliding scale, with highest points for hitting children and the elderly!

Grab a towel, head for the sand, and get ready for some rowdy fun in the sun with a bevy of bikini-clad babes! In 'Beach Balls,' Charlie Harrison wants nothing more than to hone his guitar riffs, shred in a band, and win the heart of Wendy, every guy's fantasy girl. Catching the ear of a real live record producer leads to more than a few bumps on the road to rock star status. Getting his dreams to come true turns into an out-of-control series of comic mishaps and "miss" adventures!

From the Roger Corman Sci-Fi Collection comes 'DinoCroc' (2004), a film whose only real distinction was that it was marginally better than Frankenfish (2004), features another giant amphibious/reptile monster released into the world. Directed by visual effects artist Kevin O'Neill, the film stars Matt Borlenghi ("Police Academy: The Series", Krocodylus), Jane Longenecker (The Coroner), and Costas Mandylor (Mobsters, Dr. Chopper).

So, if you would like to win one of these wonderful new Roger Corman DVDs, and you think you know all there is to know about the man, just answer this easy question: Roger Corman was born in Detroit, Michigan and received an industrial engineering degree from which University?!

Send us your answers and if you're correct you'll be in the running to win one of these wonderful new DVDs for your own collections! Just send us an e:mail here before February 15th with your answer and the subject title CONTEST: ROGER CORMAN DVDs to: exclusivemagazine@flash.net
