'Pup Stars - Triple Feature' [DVD + Digital]
(Kaitlyn Maher, Obba Babatunde, David DeLuise, et al / DVD + Digital / PG / 2019 / Mill Creek Entertainment)

Overview: From the creators of "Air Bud" and "Air Buddies" comes a new film series where dogs can not only talk - they can SING!

Follow the grand musical adventure of Tiny and her friends with three incredible 'Pup Star' movies.

From finding her voice to becoming a musical icon, it's always an adventure on 'PUP STAR'.

DVD Verdict: 'Pup Star' (2016, Rated G) - Tiny, a cute little Yorkie pup with a big voice, gets a chance to audition for the singing competition for dogs, "Pup Star."

After she earns a place in the finale, she's suddenly dog-napped! But with the help of her new friend, Charlie, a retired rock-and-roller, she escapes.

Together they leave on an incredible journey through some of music's most iconic cities. Filled with all-new songs and the biggest cast of talking and singing canines ever assembled, 'Pup Star' is an incredible family film filled with fun, music and heart.

Without a shadow of a doubt, 'Pup Star' is a fun, fantastic, family-friendly film! It really is an amazing and inspiring movie with talking and singing dogs. I found myself cheering for the super talented Tiny and booing the bad guys, or should I say bad dogs!

The talking and singing dogs are created with amazing special effects. Their mouths move in perfect harmony with the words and lyrics. Also, I love the rich and emotional music composed by Brahm Wenger which draws you in from the get go.

'Pup Star: Better 2Gether' (2017, Rated PG) - After winning "Pup Star" and becoming an international pup sensation, Tiny has her world turned upside down when an evil rival switches her out in competition with a street pup named Scrappy and an incredible journey through iconic cities ensues in this fun and hilarious dog-out-of-water, musical adventure!

I like this follow-up movie because the story has a fun adventure and also introduces lots of new characters including the disco dog Shampoo, the perfect pal P.U.P. (Mackenzie Sol) and the "catankerous" Kitty Purry (Madison Pettis).

My favorite characters are Tiny, Scrappy and Roland. Tiny is so lovable and a great singer. Scrappy is an awesome rapper with lots of attitude. Roland thinks he is pretty smart but he's really like a dodo bird.

It's so funny that in almost every scene something bad happens to him which made me laugh like a howling husky. I absolutely love the music because it includes rap, pop, country, upbeat and sad songs that draws you in and touches your heart.

'Pup Star: World Tour' (2018, Rated G) - 'Pup Star' is back and bigger than ever as the hit singing pup competition goes global. After achieving international stardom Tiny joins the inaugural Pup Star World Tour as a celebrity judge.

As they travel the world each judge chooses their favorite contestant to compete for the new title of global pup star champion.

This is yet another great movie in the super cute series and I really hope they can make a fourth to continue the rich comedic doggy goodness!

Like kid movies should, it includes a learning message of fighting for one's dreams and to do it in a fair way. It also includes a lot of adventures that will keep the kids interested.

Us adults will be able to guess how the movie will go, but it is still enjoyable to watch especially if one loves dogs. The dogs are incredibly cute and also get us to laugh. These are all Widescreen Presentations (1.85:1) enhanced for 16x9 TVs.

'Pup Stars - Triple Feature' [DVD] is out September 17th, 2019 via Mill Creek Entertainment.
