'Peg + Cat: Super Peg and Cat Guy'
(DVD / NR / 2016 / PBS)

Overview: Follow the adorable, spirited Peg and her sidekick Cat as they embark on adventures, solve problems together, and learn foundational math concepts and skills.

DVD Verdict: 'Peg + Cat' is an absolutely wonderful show! It features a girl who is not obsessed with princesses and loves solving math-based problems. And it's not just for girls, trust me! I have an almost 5 year-old son who loves it more than any other show.

Indeed, every single one of his friends, male and female, also love it as it is interesting, insightful, and addresses common childhood issues with a spirit of fun and inquisitiveness.

The episodes contained on this brand new 'Peg + Cat: Super Peg and Cat Guy' DVD are:
The Arch Villain Problem
The Straight and Narrow Problem
The Flat Woman Problem
The Race Car Problem

Look! Up in the sky! It's Super Peg and Cat Guy, here to protect the citizens of Mathtropolis. Explore basic math and geometry concepts as Super Peg and Cat Guy solve the city's problems. When these two friends put their minds together, they find that it's super fun to use math to save the day!

I would like to thank PBS for another amazing production and I hope that this winner of numerous Emmy Awards continues to bring us further episodes of these high quality, educational shows. Well done PBS. Thank you! This is a Widescreen Presentation (1.85:1) enhanced for 16x9 TVs.
