'Lego Star Wars: The New Yoda Chronicles'
(Eric Bauza, Michael Daingerfield, Anthony Daniels, Trevor Devall, et al / DVD / NR / 2015 / Walt Disney Studios)

Overview: After headstrong Luke nearly delivers the good guys into Palpatine's clutches, Master Yoda and the ghost of Obi-Wan Kenobi unearth the Holocrons - last remnants of the secrets of the Jedi - to further Luke's training.

DVD Verdict: So, if you have seen the Padawan Menace and Empire Strikes Out and LOVED them, then you will really like this too! Sure, for my money, it wasn't quite as witty as the other two, but for the price we do LOVE the fact that you get four (4) episodes this time! oh, and the last two releases also had mini figures, but not this one, so watch out for that.

As Luke undergoes more training, Darth Vader seeks the Holocrons, and he'll stop at nothing to get them first! Meanwhile, courageous superclone Jek-14 comes out of retirement to help bolster the Rebels.

For those not in the know, 'Lego Star Wars: The New Yoda Chronicles' (much like all the titles in the series) are all really cute and contain many little "jokes" for adults. Not adult content, by any stretch of the imagination, but simply little jokes that kids won't get!

This series is a breezy Lego adaptation to a whole new Star Wars chapter. Very engaging, whether you had seen the original Star Wars movies or not. Something your kids will enjoy from start to finish, and hopefully grow up and want to see the acorn originals too also, of course! This is a Widescreen Presentation (1.77:1) enhanced for 16x9 TVs and comes with the Special Feature of:

Alternate Ending: "Clash Of The Skywalkers"

Own it on Blu-ray, DVD & Digital HD September 15th, 2015!
