'Alpha & Omega: The Legend of the Saw Tooth Cave'
(Ben Diskin, Kate Higgins, Dee Dee Greene, et al / DVD / NR / 2015 / LGF)
Overview: After exploring the haunted Saw Tooth Cave and finding a wolf who has been driven away from her pack, Runt musters all of courage to help her.
DVD Verdict: When I first heard that production of this movie went on for over a year - ever since its official announcement on the DVD extras of 'Alpha and Omega 2' - I was skeptical about the quality of what was to unfold before my very eyes. I shouldn't have worried though for 'Alpha & Omega: The Legend of the Saw Tooth Cave' is one of their most enjoyable romps to date!
Basically put, 'Alpha and Omega 4' is a fantastic movie! The best, in my humble opinion, out of all the sequels, it does everything a sequel should do and lives up to the first movie at the very same time. The characters are great, the animation is actually a bit better than '3,' and the comedic elements of both Alpha and Omega are as on form as they ever were.
The plot is first class, original at that, and the 47 minutes plays out with equal measures of intensity and excitement, all emotionally wrapped up in one uber heart-warming, and very colorful story. This is a Widescreen Presentation (1:78.1) enhanced for 16x9 TVs and comes with the Special Features of:
Race to Rabbit Poo Mountain Game
