'Pretty Little Liars - The Complete Fifth Season'
(Troian Bellisario, Ashley Benson, Tyler Blackburn, Holly Marie Combs, Lucy Hale, et al / 6-Disc DVD / NR / 2015 / Warner Bros.)

Overview: Get ready for more twists and thrills as season five of 'Pretty Little Liars' begins in the moments following the epic season four finale, in which Ezra was shot, among other shocking acts and revelations.

DVD Verdict: Well, let's start at the very beginning, because that's exactly when I first got hooked on this ingenious, creative, compelling show. Indeed, after just the very first episode, when four girls - who have recently grown apart after the event of their best friend's death - find out that their deceased friend is still sending them texts, signed notably with the single-letter name of "A", they come together to try to stop her from following through with threats to spill their darkest secrets.

Upon first thought, as a new fan to the show back then, you probably asked yourself how big these secrets could possibly be for four high school girls, but these girl's aren't just typical teenagers; their secrets run deeper than stealing a tube of lip gloss from the local drug store! Indeed, 'Pretty Little Liars' is one of those shows that is not fantastic, but drags you in and won't let you go until you find out what's next!

Here in the epic Fifth Season box-set of 'Pretty Little Liars' we kick off in the very first episode, quite literally moments into the incredible season four finale in which Ezra was shot - amongst other shocking acts and revelations, of course! Alison is alive and back in Rosewood, and everyone is affected by her return - but is she the same Alison after being on the run?

Hanna's ex, Caleb, returns, but he, too, is changed. Plus, how does Mona fit into everything and what is Melissa (guest star Torrey DeVitto) hiding? With more questions than ever and other familiar faces back in Rosewood, there are now five pretty little liars trying to piece together who has been tormenting them. Chock full of high emotions, intrigue and nail-biting suspense, inclusive of the the series' landmark 100th episode, 'Pretty Little Liars' is as good as it gets for this kind of sweeping genre.

In closing, and as stated before, once you start watching 'Pretty Little Liars,' you seriously can't stop! There's always little twists in each episode, and its definitely not gonna be what you're expecting. Overall, its a must watch and there aren't that many good things on TV right now, so definitely watch this. For, in Rosewood, nothing is as it seems! This is a Widescreen Presentation (1:78.1) enhanced for 16x9 TVs and comes with the Special Features of:

4 All-New Featurettes: Celebrating A Pretty 100th; Christmas in Rosewood: Designing the Ice Ball; Pretty Little Liars: The Guys Are Back!; Good Girls, Bad Lies: The Stronger PLLs
