'Green Street Hooligans: Underground'
(Scott Adkins, Josh Myers, Jack Doolan, Joey Ansah, et al / DVD / R / 2015 / Lionsgate)

Overview: Danny Harvey (Scott Adkins), has spent all of his life fighting – in the playground, on the football pitch and then for the Green Street Elite. Danny turned his back on football violence and moved away from London. But when his brother is killed all that changes and vengeance is the new order of the day.

DVD Verdict: Let's be honest here, after the worldwide success of 'Green Street Hooligans' and it's subsequent sequels, it was inevitable that a fourth film would be planned. 'Green Street Hooligans: Underground' is the story of when the old firm leader Danny, played by Scott Adkins, returns to Green Street for revenge after receiving a call that his little brother was killed. But is he able to cope with a new type of hooliganism and can he find his killer?

In my mind, the original 'Green Street Hooligans' was the best, the second one decent, the third one 'Never Back Down' just a B-movie using the name. But it seems the 'Green Street Hooligans' brand is back and fully operational in 'Undergound,' as it truly is an en masse, and uber violent free for all of one-on-one and out of nowhere thuggery.

When Joey (Danny’s younger brother) is killed in an organized fight, Danny is forced to return for Joey’s funeral. Here, Danny meets up with his childhood best mate, Victor Davis, who’s the detective assigned to investigate Joey’s murder.

Victor knows the only way of finding out who killed Joey is to send someone in undercover and he knows Danny is the only man for the job. Danny has to return to his old manor and get back into the firm... One things guaranteed: Violence with a capital ‘V.’ Hooliganism has moved on. The fighting is much more organized and sophisticated. His MMA skills are going to come in more handy than ever thought possible. This operation is 100 deniable – if Danny gets caught they are both royally screwed! This is a Widescreen Presentation (1.85:1) enhanced for 16x9 TVs and comes with the Special Feature of:
