'A Mouse Tale'
(Tom Arnold, Drake Bell, Miranda Cosgrove, Jon Heder, Cary Elwes, Jon Lovitz, et al / DVD / PG / 2014 / Lionsgate)

Overview: To save their kingdom from evil rodents, two young mice go on a quest to a forbidden world to find a legendary magic crystal that has the power to restore order to their kingdom.

DVD Verdict: Wow! Containing one of the best-known cast of celeb vices for a - shall we say, lower budget animation movie than the Disney efforts - 'A Mouse Tale' is chock full of goodness, from start to finish.

In order to save their kingdom from evil rodents, Sebastian (Drake Bell) and Samantha (Miranda Cosgrove) are sent on a quest by the King of Rodencia (Jon Lovitz) to obtain a legendary magical crystal which has the power to defeat the rodents. With the help of two trustworthy knights, they must venture deep into the forest and enter the forbidden world of giants in order to accomplish their mission and restore order to the kingdom.

In what is yet another reunion between Miranda Cosgrove and Drake Bell, who played brother and sister in 'Drake & Josh,' here in 'A Mouse Tale' their collective voices are just perfect in their respective roles. The movie is rated PG for some action and mile rude humor, but also comes with the "Family Approved" blue sticker on its front cover. In closing, 'A Mouse Tale' is a fun, family adventure and one that your kids - and those adults that love a good animated romp - will all sit attentively round the TV and watch. especially on these cold, oh so cold nights! This is a Widescreen Presentation (1.85:1) enhanced for 16x9 TVs and comes with the Special Features of:
"Bringing The Characters To Life" - At the recording studio with Miranda Cosgrove, Drake Bell, Jon Heder, Jon Lovitz, Dallas Lovato, Tom Arnold, Cary Elwes and More!
