'Atlas Shrugged Part III: Who is John Galt?'
(Greg Germann, Peter Mackenzie, Kristoffer Polaha, et al / Blu ray + DVD / PG-13 / 2015 / 20th Century Fox)

Overview: Approaching collapse, the nation's economy is quickly eroding. As crime and fear take over the countryside, the government continues to exert its brutal force against the nation's most productive who are mysteriously vanishing - leaving behind a wake of despair. One man has the answer. One woman stands in his way. Some will stop at nothing to control him. Others will stop at nothing to save him. He swore by his life. They swore to find him. Who is John Galt?

Blu ray Verdict: OMG! This is definitely worth seeing! The condensation of the speech (that's the big spoiler, it's shrunk down to fit within a normal-length film) was absolutely beyond my wildest hopes.

The cameo appearances are truly amazing as well. This really is the best done of any of the trilogy. The characterizes were excellent. I particularly liked how Dr. Ferris was casually painted as the evil villain. Nothing hits you over the head, he just slithers into his role. One micro-spoiler: Ragnar gets more lines in the movie than in the book.

There are virtually no special effects, so the story has to carry the movie; and it does! The valley (Atlantis) scenes really let you see what Ayn Rand meant by fearless children, being raised to think.

But, I have to play both sides of the table here, being a journalist, and so I would also say, to my Randian friends, that I suggest you watch John Ford's liberal union manifesto 'The Grapes of Wrath' or Rob Reiner's 'The American President' to see how also to deliver a message of such wealth and power - even if it's message is only for the converted. Both movies have a first rate cast, high production values, excellent writing and pacing and wonderful photography. While conservatives will hate the message, but they may be intellectually honest enough to admit it is good storytelling. This is a Widescreen Presentation (1.85:1) enhanced for 16x9 TVs and comes with the Special Features of:
