'Cartoon Network: Adventure Time - Finn the Human'
(Various / DVD / NR / 2014 / Warner Bros.)

Overview: Following the huge success of the Jake vs. Me-Mow and Jake the Dad DVDs and accompanying Finn and Jake hats, fans of Cartoon Network's smash hit series, 'Adventure Time,' can now complete their Finn look with an authentic backpack, which is valued at around 20 bucks on its own, packaged with the DVD!

DVD Verdict: I have to fully admit, that I liked a lot of this new chapter from Cartoon Network. Indeed, it was rather an impressive beginning for the fifth season of 'Adventure Time' and a great continuation to the events that took place in the episode, "The Lich". In 'Finn the Human' we have the chance to see one alternate reality which shows how the world from this series would have been if the Lich never existed. Though things doesn't turn as expected, of course!

In that way, this manages to be another unpredictable and impressive episode, pretty much like it predecessor, the aforementioned "The Lich". The rest of the story is continued in the following episode, "Jake the Dog," but if you're still reading this review, I'm sure you already know that fact.

Anyway, packed with 16 hilarious episodes from fan-favorite seasons, 'Adventure Time: Finn the Human' is a must-have gift for any 'Adventure Time' lover:

1. The New Frontier
2. The Lich
3. Finn the Human
4. Jake The Dog
5. We Fixed a Truck
6. Blade of Grass
7. The Red Throne
8. The Great Bird Man
9. One Last Job
10. Little Dude
11. City of Thieves
12. Conquest of Cuteness
13. Who Would Win
14. Ignition Point
15. Furniture & Meat
16. Sad Face

Basically, Finn and Jake chase the Lich through a dimensional portal where they meet Prismo, who tells them that the Lich wished for the extinction of all life. This leads Finn to wish that the Lich "never even ever existed" and the creation of the Farmworld reality therein.

The fact that this is now a stand-alone is great enough as it is, for us 'Adventure Time' fans, BUT the fact that the Cartoon Network (or Warner Bros., as is) have also included an 'Adventure Time' backpack - for FREE - is, well, beyond crazy great! Any fan will love getting into character with this accessory and then watching their favorite 16 episodes, one after the other, reciting all the words along the way, of course! This is a Widescreen Presentation (1.85:1) enhanced for 16x9 TVs.
