'Crank It Up! Colt Ford Live At Wild Adventures'
(Colt Ford / DVD / NR / 2014 / Eagle Vision)

Overview: Country star Colt Ford brings his hard rockin set to his rabid fans at the Wild Adventures Theme Park in Valdosta, Georgia. See and hear Colt and his band perform an electrifying high-energy show, spotlighting tracks from over the course of his entire career.

DVD Verdict: For those that don't know, Jason Farris Brown is actually the real birth name of Colt Ford, an American rapper, musician, and songwriter. He has released four albums via Average Joes Entertainment, which he co-founded. Ford has charted six times on the Hot Country Songs charts, and co-wrote (with Brantley Gilbert), 'Dirt Road Anthem,' a song on his 2008 album Ride Through the Country, which Jason Aldean later covered on his My Kinda Party.

Colt, and his band's electrifying, high-energy show begins with both 'Answer To No One' and 'High Life,' before the title track to this DVD is brought out to the baying audience. Ford's fourth album, Declaration of Independence, became his first number 1 album on Top Country Albums and its first charted single, 'Back' is sung next, and he backs that with 'Crickets,' and his third album's lead single, 'Country Thang.'

'Driving Around,' 'Mr. GoodTime,' and a new medley, 'Waste Time' / 'Cricket On The Line' / 'Huntin' The World' / 'This Is Our Song' is next, and then he delves deeper to bring us 'Workin' On,' 'Ride Thru The Country,' 'She's Like,' and then 'Chicken And Biscuits,' 'Dirty Side,' and, of course, 'Hip Hop In A Honky Tonk.'

As the Colt Ford faithful suddenly get drenched in a torrential downpour, soaking them to the skin, they simply - one and all - rise up (vocally) above it and act like nothing is happening! Truly remarkable! Especially given that the next song sung is 'Washed In The Mud'! That's backed by 'No Trash In My Trailer,' 'Thanks For Listening,' and then the show is rounded out by both 'Waffle House' and the one, the only, 'Dirt Road Anthem.'
