'The Royals'
(Narrator: Alistair Appleton / 3-Disc DVD / NR / 2014 / BFS Entertainment)

Overview: This six-part British documentary is the definitive look at all facets of the British Royal Family’s life – taking viewers into the fascinating world of the British monarchy in all its grandeur, splendor and even controversy – from scandals, pets and funerals to weddings, teens and babies, including the birth of Prince George Alexander Louis in July 2013.

DVD Verdict: With insight from Royal experts, biographers and journalists, as well as those close to the family, 'The Royals' takes viewers on a captivating journey, past and present, through the highs and the lows of the British Royal Family and provides a truly mesmerizing picture of one of the world’s most famous dynasties.

In the first of the episodes, ROYAL WEDDINGS, it's pretty safe to say that the world has already been truly gripped by Royal fever! This episode showcases Britain's favorite family - the Royal Family, if there was still any room for doubt - and takes the viewer behind-the-scenes of some of the most lavish, incredible, and stately Royal Weddings that have been witnessed today.

The second episode, ROYAL FUNERALS, allows us to explore and honor how the Royal Family legacy is preserved and how the role of tradition and custom have played their part down the years in strengthening Britain in times of grief.

In the third episode, YOUNG ROYALS, we discover how the lives of the teen royals have changed radically from the strict upbringing of Prince Philip to the turbulent youth of Prince Harry.

In the fourth episode, ROYAL SCANDALS, we relive the scandals that shook both the general public and the inner corridors of Buckingham Palace, and examine the relationship between the media and the monarchy.

In the fifth episode, ROYAL BABIES, we look back at the bizarre and magnificent world of Royal Babies as the world prepares for the next patter of tiny royal feet.

In the sixth and final episode, ROYAL PETS, from corgis to monkeys, and horses to pigeons, this episode looks at the extraordinary relationships between British Royals and their animals. These are all Widescreen Presentations (1.77:1) enhanced for 16x9 TVs and, again, comes complete with the following episodes: Royal Weddings, Royal Scandals, Young Royals, Royal Funerals, Royal Pets, Royal Babies.
