Overview: All the monarchs from Enchancia's neighboring kingdoms have come to watch a dazzling display of magic: First, Cedric will conjure up a fabulous feast. Next, he'll transform the banquet room into a hall of amazing "morpho-mirrors." But before the fun begins, wicked Miss Nettle (disguised as "Sascha The Sorceress") crashes the party with a scheme to steal Sofia's magical amulet.

DVD Verdict: Now, as much as I get this is for kids, and is not to be taken to seriously, after all this time I have to say myself and my family have started to feel like this show started out with her being the underdog you wanted to root for. But as the show goes on you see more and more that Sofia always wins ... at everything!

I mean, she's a commoner who was thrust into this world of privilege. If I were one of her family or friends I'd be rolling my eyes and saying, "Ugh, why bother even entering this, that or the other?! Of course Sofia is gonna win." Obviously, I've been thinking about this too much, sorry, so let's move on to this latest release regardless.

Cedric is preparing to show off his magical skills at the Enchanted Feast: a grand dinner for all of the kings and queens in the Tri-Kingdom Area. When the evil fairy Miss Nettle disguises herself as a powerful sorceress known as Sascha and takes over the feast after tricking Roland into welcoming her in by showering the royal family with gifts, Sofia forms an unlikely team with Clover, Cedric and Wormwood to protect her amulet and save her family.

Sofia learns, after summoning the Snow White, to trust her instincts. Here, as much like before, aside from Sofia herself Prince James once again seems to be one of the only characters who isn't one dimensional. That said, it is a kids animated adventure, so I'll stop all that now!

Oh, and finally, playing both sides of the reviewer, there's actually one episode where Sofia's team does NOT win at what they are doing; which, as you can guess, I was very surprised at! In the end 'Sofia the First:: The Enchanted Feast' is GREAT entertainment for the kids in your family - and those young adults too, perhaps. This is a Widescreen Presentation (1.78:1) enhanced for 16x9 TVs and comes with all five (5) episodes: 1. The Enchanted Feast 2. The Buttercups 3. Tea For Too Many 4. Great Aunt Venture 5. Two Princesses And A Baby.
