'Sabrina, the Teenage Witch - The Fourth Season'
(Melissa Joan Hart, et al / 3-Disc DVD / NR / (1996) 2008 / Paramount)

Overview: When Sabrina Spellman is informed by her aunts Hilda and Zelda that she is a witch on her 16th birthday she is hesitant to believe them. Having been sent to live with them in Massachusetts by her Warlock father and mortal mother Sabrina learns the tricks of magic in order to receive her witch's license. Along the way she gets into many scrapes while figuring out how certain spells work. She also has to keep the secret from her boyfriend Harvey friends Jenny and later Valerie stuck-up nemesis Libby and her ever-suspicious vice-principal Mr. Kraft.

DVD Verdict: I am forty-two years old (and a mother), so I sorta "grew up" with Sabrina and I can tell you, I have probably seen each episode about a 100 times and they never get old! EVER! Melissa Joan Hart is just about the cutest and funniest chick around and I love every other character on the show as well! I own the first three seasons too, but the fact my teenage daughter loves this teenage witch could have aided those purchases! I swear, I'll be watching this show even when I'm 90! Even if it does drive my husband crazy!

As noted above I have a seventeen year old who LOVES Sabrina. She got the first two seasons from my room and now has them buried in hers! in fact during the holidays she watched them both within a few days! I had pre-ordered the 3rd season and when we got it, she opened it and watched it right away! Now the fourth season is here and she's all over this one too!

Personally, the fourth season is when it started to be: "not as great" because there was no Libby, no Valerie (OR Jenny,) and I was NEVER a big fan of Josh either! He was just ANNOYING, but Salem is still awesome, and so are the rest of them (especially Harvey), and Sabrina of course, ... goes without saying!

In this fourth season Sabrina turns 18, only to discover she must now mentor another teen witch; Dreama (China Shavers). And newly promoted Princial Kraft (Martin Mull) is still dating Aunt Zelda (Beth Broderick), much to the chagrin of Aunt Hilda (Caroline Rhea), who this season buys a magic clock shop.

But with her boyfriend Harvey (Nate Richert), her talking cat Salem (voiced by Nick Bakay), and her new boss Josh (David Lascher) in her corner, this popular teen always saves the day! And let's not forget the season-end twist that you simply just won't believe!!

So I strongly recommend anyone who is a Sabrina fan to buy this! Even if you're not a Sabrina fan, buy it and you WILL be! This show is TIMELESS and it will always be a classic! This is a Full Screen Presentation (1.33:1) enhanced for 16x9 TVs but does not come with any Special Features.
