'Love Comes to the Executioner'
(Kyle Bergersen, Jonathan Tucker, et al / DVD / R / (2004) 2006 / Velocity)

Overview: A recent college graduate (Tucker) takes a job as star Executioner at a local prison, where his estranged brother (Renner) is slated to die for murder.

DVD Verdict: I watched (reviewed) this film last night without any hestitation as it just looked/read funny from the DVD info! I also believe that it ran at SXSW last year, but that's a whole other story! Anyway, this movie is indeed wonderfully sick and very funny! Essentially, the hero just graduated from college with a degree in Classical Languages. He wants to teach high school Latin but ends up being a prison executioner in the small town where he grew up. Complicating matters, his big brother's on death row (for trying to kill him) and so is his brother's ex-girlfriend. Creating a uniquely hilarious love triangle. If you like Monty Python, 'Harold and Maude' and 'Grosse Point Blank,' you'll like this fantastic little movie! This is a Widescreen Presentation (1.85:1) enhanced for 16x9 TVs and comes with the Special Features of:
