'Archer: The Complete Season Four' [Blu-ray]
(Animation / 2-Disc Blu ray / NR / 2014 / 20th Century Fox)

Overview: Follow the team around the globe, from the mysterious Bermuda Triangle all the way to the Vatican, as they bicker, backstab and bumble their way through assassination plots, an ill-advised marriage, an unexpected pregnancy, and a venomous snake bite in a very, very bad place!

Blu ray: I have to say that I and some of my dearest friends have followed 'Archer' since day one and have loved it thereafter. It's not perfect, it's not always spot on, but it works - and that, for us, in enough to ensure a great nights viewing each and every time.

That all said, this fourth season has raised some eyebrows re: it was not the favorite of myself or my friends, sadly. Trust me, the show is still very thoughtful, extremely well-written, and just as funny as always, but it's pace seems to changed. Indeed, the dialog moves at a breakneck pace now which means the viewer will definitely need repeated views to catch all the aspects of the contained humor therein.

For me, personally, I loved the stories about Pam in this season as well as seeing more of Dr. Krieger. Both of those characters play a bigger role in this season than they did in the series' early days. And if you still weren't sure about this show, well, much like the other seasons 'Archer' is a show adults! It uses humor that is not appropriate - and, in many cases, would not be understood - by younger viewers.

In closing, this is a great purchase. I strongly suggest any one to buy this. Well worth the money for this product. This is a Widescreen Presentation (1.85:1) enhanced for 16x9 TVs and comes with the Special Features of:

"Fisherman’s Daughter”
“Archer Live!”
