Title - ‘Peace, Love & C. Holmes’
Artist - Christina Holmes

Don’t know anything about Christina Holmes? That’s ok, because soon you will not be able to turn on your radio without hearing her name, or listening to her music! Yup, this debut album from the uber talented young lady, Peace, Love & C. Holmes is just that good!

Originally from New Jersey, now based in Rhode Island, Holmes was given the opportunity to record this debut with multi-platinum producer, Narada Michael Walden! I mean, come on, a) who gets that lucky, and b) who could turn that offer down anyway? It turns out Narada had heard some of her demos and was blown away by her raw talent. So, the man who has produced such mega stars as Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey and legend Aretha Franklin welcomed Holmes into his very own, and legendary Tarpan Studios to create what we have before us today.

The two worked together throughout the summer of 2013 and into early 2014, in which time period she managed to write and record 21 songs - 16 of which now appear here on Peace, Love & C. Holmes. Indeed, the reason it is here with us now in hard copy form is that right after the recording sessions Narada offered Holmes a record deal on his newly-founded label, Tarpan Records.

And so, Peace, Love & C. Holmes features 16 great songs, all original compositions, and many featuring some wonderful guest performers. Better than that, all of the vocals, most of the guitars, and even some of the drum tracks were performed by Holmes herself.

Named because, well, the album is a little bit of peace, a little bit of love, and a whole lot of C. Holmes, each song is passionate, truthful, from the heart, and enables the listener to embrace a young, talented spirit within the business. A refreshing change for all of us music fans, Christina Holmes is spreading her passion for music to the masses, on listener at a time.
