Title - Da Punch
Artist - Krystal System
For those still unaware, with “Da Punch”, Bonnie (vocals, guitars) and N°7 (vocals, synth, sampler, guitars) confirm the new line-up featuring φ (Phi) on bass.
The French trio returns sharper and more dangerous than ever, delivering a full-force statement driven by urgency, instinct, and raw authenticity. This is not just an album - it’s impact. A collision of punk-electro-metal energy, fearless inventiveness, and a distinctly French touch that refuses compromise.
Carried by Bonnie’s voice - at once youthful, fierce, and emotionally exposed - every track hits with immediate intensity. She doesn’t just sing, she inhabits each moment, shifting from fragile tension to explosive outbursts, giving flesh and blood to words that cut deep.
Around her, the band operates like a live wire: real instruments slicing through electronic pressure, guitars clashing with synth layers, rhythms bending and breaking through asymmetric structures that constantly destabilize the listener.
This is not programmed safety - this is musicianship on the edge!

On a recording that deliciously thrives on contrast and movement, Krystal System open their new album on the rhythmically pounding title cut Da Punch and the pulsing rocker Someday and then comes the al-guitar brilliance of Éclats Rouges, the trippy synth-hued beats of Iryna’s Song, and both the rock-hop of Neon Cage and the veritably ethereal tones, at first, guitar-driven latterly Mélodie En Sous-Sol.
Along next is the drum-led brilliance of the 80’s-imbibed Soleil Noir and the Goth-Industrial vibed Nouvel Age and they are in turn backed seamlessly by an aching yearn that threads early, latterly becoming more attune to uncropped musical freedom within the build of A World That Is Yours, the propulsive Headhunter, the Industrial make up of What If I Fail?, the new set rounding out on the darkly frenetic Skippy Bop, coming to a close on the all-embracing moods and tones of the beat-tastic Wonder Who.
