Will Schneider Trio’s second album, Convergence, presents and reflects on this ever-expansive question through music, sound, poetry, and art as its mediums. With fire as their sanctuary, our ancient ancestors gathered around to share their stories and reflected within themselves–they created the traditions and communities that made them human.

Recorded at Stone Soup Recording Studios in Ohio, they open the new recording on an aching yearn that threads throughout Cave of Dreams and the sheer elegance of Sea of Stars and they are in turn backed by the robustly rhythmic Eldr Gathering, the drum-led ambiance of the magnificently sculpted title track Convergence, the stoically earnest fare of In the Tradition, the set rounding out on the formidably harmonic Astral Voyage, coming to a close on the low slung gossamer of the resplendent Ways of Knowing.
