OK, sure, let’s get this out the way from the off: the CD is only half an hour long, but worth it. Jarre does a frighteningly convincing job of transferring Glenn Close’s pursuit of Michael Douglas into sounds. I recommend it to all males who might be experiencing similar, but hopefully less intense, situations in their lives. Now you have background music for the conflicting emotions inside of you.

The minuses of this CD are definitely outweighed by the pluses, but it is worth mentioning that even though six tracks are listed on the label you might think you’ve listened to 14 different suites come the end; for the generosity in what Jarre has crafted overwhelms and envelopes you from the very off.

I would suggest watching the movie first and then playing the disc while the sound is fresh in your head. That is actually HIGHLY recommended.
