The veteran Tucson vocalist opens her new recording on her dazzling rendition of No Doubt’s Just A Girl and then we get gifted a storied These Boots Were Made For Walking, a sumptuous cover of Guns ’N Roses’ Sweet Child O’ Mine, a smoothly slinky Fever, before a regimented approach to Mr. Brightside is upon us, an all-embracing I’m Beginning To See The Light, a decadent Tainted Love, the new set rounding out on the resplendently low slung Basin Street Blues, coming to a close on the perky and playful I’m A Woman.
