Title - Global Prayer
Artist - Ize Trio
For those unaware, Ize Trio is a multi-cultural music ensemble focused on combining the American art form of Jazz with Middle Eastern traditions. They collaborate and perform in order to create a more inclusive vision for musical communities and to raise awareness for immigrant rights.
Through their different backgrounds and cultural traditions, they write original music and tell musical stories that are important in opening positive dialogue about the relationship between the US and the Middle East.
They seek to inspire musicians to add their cultural roots to the Jazz tradition and display how music can be a bridge to understanding and connection.
On their 2024 debut album, The Global Suites, the Boston-based collective offered a bold, culture-spanning vision of music in service of unity and healing across borders, both real and imagined.
The trio’s stunning follow-up is at once more expansive in its sonic ambitions yet more meditative and introspective. Global Prayer, out June 12th, 2026, is just that – a prayer for a better world that gazes inward in a search for answers to universal dilemmas.

Epilogue
Bringing together three musicians from diverse backgrounds, who weave together traditions from jazz, Western classical music and maqam, Ize Trio first bring us the intellectually ambitious Flying and then we get the culturally immersive From The Stars, the textural depth of Splashes Of The Future and the emotionally resonating Snæfellsjökull (which is a 700,000-year-old glacier-capped stratovolcano in western Iceland).
Along next is the percussionally alert title track Global Prayer and that is in turn backed seamlessly by the artistically cultured The New Order, the rhythmically textural Jam For The End of The World, the set rounding out on the melodiously phrased Taqsim, coming to a close on the emotively self-assured Epilogue.
