Title - Shadowland
Artist - Charlie Winton
For those still unaware, singer-songwriter Charlie Winton first released “Rising Tide” as his advance track from Shadowland, his just released fourth album on digital/CD this past on May 1st, 2026 via Melatron Music.
Every track on Shadowland, including “Rising Tide” was produced by Scott Mathews (Brian Wilson, Van Morrison, Jack Nitzsche, Roy Orbison as well as the Durocs), who also worked with Winton on his three previous full-lengths.
Winton describes the new single as “a meditation on the passing of time, memory and mortality, an affirmation to meet the day. Always time to get it right. Sonically, it fits right into the groove of what we wanted to do with the album, which was to open up the sound, lean into the voice and create a swampy, soulful vibe.”
