Title - Metamorphose
Artist - Mativetsky Amiri Pagé
For those unaware, Mativetsky Amiri Pagé not only presents an unusual instrumental combination, it’s also a setting where each player brings a unique set of musical experiences to the table.
The result is an exploratory sonic marriage uniting Indian and Persian classical traditions, and elements pulled from folk, and improvised/ experimental realms.
And therefore, Metamorphose (released March 20h, 2026) is a striking collection of collaboratively composed pieces. The title refers to the players’ shared understanding of music as constantly in flux.
This sense of flow and connection is visceral: strings hammered and plucked, skins struck and thrumming, three incredible musicians communing around an ever-evolving sound. The sound is lush, organic and uncanny.

On a recording that dutifully bears testament to three incredible musicians communing around an ever-evolving sound, they open on the breathtakingly atmospheric, veritably transportive Yavaran before we are then brought forth the decadently smooth title track Metamorphose, the emotively engaging opus Quarter Tone Suite, the set rounding out on the flourishing nature of Maktrismos, coming to an all too soon close on the 12 minute musical reckoning within the organically cohesive Pathos.
