One of my favorite bands, and one of the few that I have pretty much everything by. I first saw them in 1985, at the Elephant Fayre. It was raining but they were fantastic. The band after them? Killing Joke. Well worth getting wet for!

Their debut was definitely punk in attitude. but I’d say post punk in delivery and production. Ever since they have been notoriously difficult to label in any particular sub genre, partly why they have remained such a cult act.

Which is why this live double CD set is amazing to hear after all this time. Chock full of the brilliant hits and low blows that we have heard from them over the years, this still very unique band is still to this day going, still brilliant to listen to; and one of their last albums - entitled From Here - was astonishingly good for a band 40 years in!
