For those not in the know, Alan Clayson has never fitted neatly anywhere — and has never wished to.

In the context of mainstream pop, There’s Still Time lands like a Viking longship docking in a hovercraft terminal. Argumentative, funny, occasionally abrasive, and unconcerned with expectations — somewhere, as one Rock ’N’ Reel commentator put it, there is a parallel universe where Clayson and the Argonauts are bigger than the Beatles.
