Title - Even Cowgirls Get The Blues (CD)
Artist - Johnny Cash & Waylon Jennings
For those unaware, the concert featuring Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings in Norman, Oklahoma during February 1988 was part of their Affordable Art Tour.
The tour featured both artists alongside June Carter Cash and others. It was a significant event showcasing their combined talents.
This tour was a testament to their enduring connection and shared history in country music and is available now on CD.

Whilst this is a very interesting release and seemingly an essential item to have in your collection for fans of both artists the sound quality was not as would have been expected, moreover a bootleg-style audience recording rather than a professional broadcast, so you should be aware of that going in.
That aside, Cash and Jennings released a joint album in 1986 entitled Heroes. Both were friends and performed together from time to time. This alleged radio recording dates from 1988 and documents part of a concert.
As noted, the sound quality is poor, some songs end abruptly and there are lyrical moments that don’t land as clear as one could hope, but even so the captured live experience of these two legends is one for the ages.
