Title - 'Swords-Deluxe Edition' (UMe)
Artist - Morrissey

Morrissey releasing a new album, kinda sorta, being that 'Swords' compiles 18 select songs released as the b-sides of his 13 hit singles from his last four albums, is always something to watch out for - and admire. I mean, this is an artist who has always ensured his b-sides are of as outstanding quality as his singles - and, luckily for us all who love his albums also, his album tracks too!

'Swords - Deluxe Edition' is really worth it, although mine has a stamp on the back that says it originated from Germany and not the US, and comes as a double CD set with inserts, lyrics, a photo insert, the aforementioned 18 b-sides on CD1 AND a live Morrissey show on CD2!

This new release easily features some of Morrissey's finest material to date - and yes, I know it's ony all b-sides and such, but compiled in this manner, well, it sure feels like a new recording to me! Plus the 8 wonderful live performances were recorded in Warsaw in July, and (even as a true fan) even I hadn't heard them before!
