Title - The Ballad of General Jupiter
Artist - Anton Roolaart

For those unaware, Wandering Willow Records and MoonJune Records, present the latest release from multi-instrumentalist Anton Roolaart entitled The Ballad of General Jupiter.

Entirely composed and produced by Anton — except for the closing track Yesterday and Today (written by Jon Anderson of Yes), this album marks another bold step in Anton’s artistic evolution.

Blending rich musical textures with evocative and lyrical storytelling, The Ballad of General Jupiter is a collection of sonic tales — snapshots of imagination, emotion, and resilience.

With echoes of Bowie, Pink Floyd, and early Genesis, Roolaart paints vivid musical portraits shaped by imagination, introspection, and social consciousness as he explores not only personal themes, but also broader reflections on a world grappling with chaos, greed, and injustice.

1. Amsterdam
2. The Ballad of General Jupiter
3. The Cry of Seven Doves
4. Touch Your Desire
5. Star Child
6. Rain
7. And the Sky Turned Yellow
8. Yesterday and Today

The Dutch-American soloist, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist whose musical career is a testament to perseverance, passion, and talent opens his new recording on the evocative Amsterdam and the introspectively-imbibed The Ballad of General Jupiter and then we are graced with the thematic The Cry of Seven Doves, a reflective Touch Your Desire and the spatially sculpted Star Child, the set rounding out on the spatially-sculpted Rain, closing on some ambient storytelling that emanates within And the Sky Turned Yellow and the wistful Yesterday and Today.

Anton Roolaart - Vocals, Guitars, Bass, Keyboards, Synths
Rave Tesar - Piano and Keyboards
Bob Kirby - Drums and Percussion
Wouter Schueler - Flute and Saxaphones
