For those not in the know, Enrique Haneine is a jazz-world musician, composer, pianist, drummer, improviser, and educator who currently resides in New York City and was born in Mexico City to Lebanese descent.

His most recent recording, entitled CONCEIVABLE DIRECTIONS, will be released on September 5th, 2025, and features thirteen original compositions that explore the possibilities and opportunities that arise when choices are presented as a result of our engagement with circumstances and experiences.

Haneine’s incredible energy, dedication, and love for life and music are instantly evident from the off with the measured Inconceivable Truth and the furtively aware New Notion and then we get the impish Four Ahead, the dulcet elegance of Unique Array of Swirls, and both the luxuriant Perpetual Insights and the emboldened Thirteenth Level Indifference.

Along next is the skittishly sculpted Sparkles and Dimensions, the free flowing Irrelevant Own Design and the down to earth Never Stranded and they are in turn followed by the breezy Tended, the low slung grandeur of Without a Single Word, the set rounding out on the gently propelled Very Slick, closing on the fun, elvish even Nuances of Intuition.
