Jen Allen’s latest album unfolds with her signature introspection and melodic richness, inviting listeners into a soundscape where curiosity, truthfulness and transformation take root.

Possibilities (out August 22nd, 2025 via Truth Revolution Recording Collective) offers a deeply personal, yet universally resonant meditation on change, resilience and the quiet power of choosing openness over fear.

Jen Allen’s discography reflects commitment to exploration and expression, including Pieces of Myself, Sifting Grace and now Possibilities. Jen’s compositions span jazz ensembles, orchestras, and multimedia works, such as the immersive piece Collective Breath. She is a participant in the BMI Jazz Composers Workshop and has received commissions and residencies from institutions like St. Peter’s Church in NYC.

The dynamic pianist, composer, and author who captivates audiences worldwide opens her deeply personal new recording on the flirtatiously joyful No Returning and then we get the all-encompassing Lacking Emotion, the easy going Red Oak and then comes her low slung, at times, but soaring when it comes to the chorus cover of the hit made famous by Rufas and Chaka Khan Ain’t Nobody.

Along next is the sobering ballad, at first, flourishing latterly Black or White which is itself backed seamlessly by her dutiful cover of Anita Baker’s delicious Sweet Love, the impassioned Dissolve, the album rounding out on the soulful Distortion, coming to an all too soon close on the veritably shimmering title track Possibilities.
