Title - Running Through My Mind
Artist - David Bailis
For those unaware, David Bailis is a multi-talented musician best known for his skills as a guitarist. Equally accomplished as a composer, producer and educator David has showcased his musical talents throughout the world, performing to sold out crowds at a range of venues from Carnegie Hall to Golden Gate Park.
He is also an elite 2:53 marathoner, competitive runner and triathlete, competing in countless races, collecting awards and medals keeping a rigorous training schedule which he documents for his fans on his Instagram.
He pays tribute to both of his loves - music and movement - on his brand new album Running Through My Mind (releasing August 15th, 2025 via the Create or Destroy label), a picturesque quintet date that also features altoist Caroline Davis and keyboardist Andrew Links.

With his music always lovingly reflecting his dabbled-within number of styles and musical genres over the years, the new recording opens on the ambiently rounded Ordinary Trash and the smooth Angles and then brings forth the expansively sculpted Telepathy and the fervently playful Star Sign.
Along next is the sterner fare of the still all-embracing Zenith which is itself backed by an adventurous, yet formidably skilled take on Stevie Wonder’s 1976 cut Joy Inside My Tears, the set rounding out on the propulsive Comet, coming to a close on a stunning rendition of the Donny Hathaway 1972 hit Jealous Guy (a track made pop radio famous in modern times by Roxy Music in 1988).
