Title - Xtra Cherries
Artist - Enuff Z’nuff

For those unaware, the brand new album Xtra Cherries (out now via Cleopatra Records) from the legendary melodic rock maestros Enuff Z’nuff comes with a little something extra on top - a line-up of stellar guest artists!

In addition to the band’s always lushly produced and hook-filled songs, these tracks also include performances from Cheap Trick’s Robin Zander, original Journey vocalist Robert Fleischman and current Journey axeman Neal Schon, GnR’s Steve Adler, Gunnar Nelson and lots more!

Enuff Z’nuff is a living, breathing example of what a rock/ pop group should be. The band was formed in 1984 in Blue Island, Illinois. Its first release, Fingers On It, gave the band some initial recognition when the track was featured in the 1986 cult movie Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer.

By 1989, original members, Chip Z’Nuff and Donnie Vie were joined by guitarist Derek Frigo and drummer Vikki Foxx. The band had signed with Atco/ Atlantic Records that same year and released their debut self-titled album.

The album spawned two hit singles that would change the course of the band’s history in both ‘New Thing’ and ‘Fly High Michelle.’ Both songs were played constantly on the radio and gained heavy rotation on MTV spending over 60 weeks in the top 10, and they’re still playing these songs today!

1. Heartbeat
2. No Cold Feeling (feat. Steve Brown)
3. Sanibel Island (It’s Outta Control)
4. Heavy Metal
5. Magnificent (feat. Steve Stevens)
6. Back To The Wall
7. Take It Or Leave It
8. You Make Me Wanna Lie (feat. Robin Zander and Derek Frigo)
9. Star Star (feat. Gunnar Nelson)
10. Zillion Miles Away (feat. Steven Adler) (CD only)
11. Shine (feat. Robert Fleischman, Neal Schon and Donnie Vie)

This highly anticipated 21st studio album chock full of the band’s signature power-pop music stylings mixed with melodic rock opens on quietly on the gritty balladry of Heartbeat and then comes the melodic rocker No Cold Feeling (featuring Steve Brown), the mid-tempo, AOR-lite Sanibel Island (It’s Outta Control), the rhythmic rock of Heavy Metal and the Def Leppard-esque Magnificent (featuring the great Steve Stevens).

Along next is the drum-led soft-rocker Back To The Wall and my own personal favorite in the melodious alt-pop rocker Take It Or Leave It and they are in turn backed neatly by the languishing You Make Me Wanna Lie (featuring Robin Zander and Derek Frigo) and the old time rock ’n’ roller Star Star (featuring Gunnar Nelson), the set rounding out on the tuneful CD only cut Zillion Miles Away (featuring Steven Adler), coming to a close on the guitar-focused rock of Shine (which features Fleischman, Schon and original lead vocalist/guitarist/co-founder Donnie Vie, who hasn’t sung with the band since 2013).

The new ENUFF Z’NUFF Xtra Cherries record is a potpourri of songs celebrated through our kaleidoscope of what ENUFF Z’NUFF is about, proclaims Chip Z’nuff.
