Title - Não Deixe para Amanhã
Artist - Felipe Brito

For those unaware, “Não Deixe para Amanhã” (Don’t Put Off Until Tomorrow) is Felipe Brito’s debut album. Using a modern jazz language, the project integrates Afro-Brazilian music genres such as samba, bossa nova, maracatu, and alujá.

The album will be released on September 6th, 2024, by the New Your label Outside in Music. Felipe’s original compositions reflect his life in Brazil and The United States.

Felipe followed his growing passion for music by joining every ensemble and performance group he could. His commitment to excellence allowed him to perform in community and symphonic bands, symphonic orchestras, and commercial bands at a variety of events around São Paulo.

After excelling in his educational pursuits at Universidade Estadual de Campinas - UNICAMP under a full scholarship, he gained opportunities to perform with great national and international artists like Raul de Souza, Branford Marsalis, Zé da Velha, and Silvério Pontes. He developed a proficiency in a variety of styles, including Samba, Samba-Rock, Choro, Salsa, Jazz, and commercial bands.

1. Vai
2. Aos Amigos Da Vida
3. Pegada
4. Nao Deixa Cair
5. Chiquita Hermosa
6. Nao Deixe Para Amanha (Don’t Put Off Until Tomorrow)

This beautifully-crafted and expertly elegant new recording opens on the vibrantly upbeat Vai and the Mardi Gras, New Orleans-vibed Aos Amigos Da Vida, and they are in turn followed by the all-embracing Pegada, the soaring Nao Deixa Cair, the album rounding out on the mid-tempo, dance floor swirl of Chiquita Hermosa, closing on the emphatically-charged title track Nao Deixe Para Amanha (Don’t Put Off Until Tomorrow).
