Title - Intourist
Artist - Refestramus

For those unaware, Refestramus is a progressive hard rock band from Chicago, IL. Their debut album combines influences from traditional gypsy, flamenco and slavic styles with modern hard rock.

Step into a realm where the echoes of 70’s prog rock giants are reborn. On their brand new album Intouríst, the band weaves a tapestry of soul-stirring epics, from the rush of a comet’s trail to the eternal dance of zombie love, each track a prog rock prayer made manifest.

Get lost in a narrative odyssey of otherworldly desires and heartfelt homecomings, all set to a soundtrack of fiery riffs that are destined to resonate with the rebels of yesterday and today.

This is not just music. It’s a portal to a time when rock was a revolution, and every note promised a journey into the extraordinary.

1. DMK (7:32)
2. Asunción (3:46)
3. The Devil Returns (6:19)
4. Intourist Suite (a. Nevalyashka, b. Agent M. vs The Sex Lizard, c. Zombie Love) (11:30)
5. Mr. Darwin (4:01)
6. Side Hustle (2:34)
7. The Red Apple (3:33)
8. Smiling (5:00)
9. Mr. Skin (CD Only Bonus Track) (0:03)
10. The Red Apple (Acoustic) (Bonus) (3:31)
11. Asunción (Española) (Bonus) (3:49)

This magnificent new recording opens on the stridently sculpted wonderment of DMK and the mid-tempo, free flowing prog ambiance of Asunción and they proceeds to bring us the Hammond and percussion-driven beauty The Devil Returns, a quite humblingly impassioned, near twelve minute opus entitled Intourist Suite, and then comes the harmonica-driven blues of Mr. Darwin and the Tull-esque Side Hustle.

Along next is the aching yearn found within the cultured The Red Apple and the synth-emboldened Smiling, and they are in turn backed by the the two bonus tracks, acoustic versions of The Red Apple and the joyfully abundant Asunción (Española).
