This wondrous musical flashback to a much easier, much more simple, much more effortless time, begins with the bright and cheery Won’t You Be My Neighbor? and the perky This Is Just The Day and followed those up with the melodic What Would You Like To Do Today, the sterner fare of We Are Elephants, and then comes the rhythmic Perfectly Beautiful Day.p> Next up is the previously unissued, and almost Asian-imbued It’s A Lonely Kind Of Thing and the gently frenetic Let’s Think Of Something To Do and then come the informative Everything Grows Together, the previously unissued, and flowing Good People Sometimes Do Bad Things and the jaunty Please Don’t Think It’s Funny.

We continue onward with the perfectly delightful bounce of I Like Someone and the languishing beauty within Did You Know? and they are in turn backed by the understanding informative, and previously unissued It’s Very Hard To Wait, the constructive Sometimes Isn’t Always, and the joyful I’m A Man Who Manufactures.

The album of musical adornments then slowly begins to wrap up with the yearning balladry within The Truth Will Make Me Free, the spirited What Do You Do?, the nighttime ballad, and previously unissued Sleep Little Baby, rounding out on the relaxing Peace And Quiet, finally closing on the happy and gleeful It’s Such A Good Feeling.

FYI: There is also a short, but sweet instrumental hidden bonus track that showcases the sheer delight that Mister Rogers truly personified, even if he didn’t even know he was being recorded.

Back In The Neighborhood: The Best Of Mister Rogers, Volume 2 is another definitive excursion into the music and legacy of Fred Rogers. It contains 15 tracks drawn from You Are Special, Coming And Going, Bedtime, and You’re Growing including 7 as unique edits.

Also featured is the first CD/Digital appearance of What Would You Like To Do Today (previously available only on the vinyl version of It’s Such A Good Feeling), plus 5 previously unissued tracks.

The compilation is Produced for Release by the Grammy-winning team from It’s Such A Good Feeling Cheryl Pawelski, Lee Lodyga, and engineer Michael Graves. Packaging features photos and a new essay from television columnist and author Diane Werts (whose byline has appeared in TV Guide, Variety, Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune, and more).

It’s time to hop back onto the trolley and get Back In The Neighborhood!
