For those unware, the bassist for Outside Pedestrian, the multi-instrumentalist David Lockeretz has brought forth a quite brilliant new solo album entitled Mulligan!.

Combining a plethora of musical genres, vibes and soundscapes, the 11-track album exposes Lockeretz's creative nuances perfectly, allowing his jazz work to now be absorbed with moments of vibraphone, accordion and Theremin, amongst others.

Opening with the Pink Patheresque 'Don't Read the Comments' and the atmospheric, Latin-imbibed 'Non-Hybrid Seeds,' next up is the gentle, lushly ornate accordion work of 'The Old Neighborhood,' the free-flowing Caribbean backdrop of 'Minor Outlying Island,' and then the late night jazz club vibe of 'I Will See You There.'

Next up is the informatively funky, upright bass backbone of 'Deor' which is backed by the delicate Parisian sounds of 'Old Habits,' the mid-tempo 'Green Girl,' the gently fervent 'Big Leo,' with the CD rounding out on two Bonus Tracks in the form of MIDI sequence demos of both 'Non-Hybrid Seeds' and 'Green Girl.'
