Title - 'There's Always Tomorrow' [EP]
Artist - Bonzo Squad

For those not in the know, the musical collaborative effort spearheaded by saxophonist Corbin Andrick known as Bonzo Squad is taking on Chicago one show and one melted face at a time!

Specializing in locked-in grooves accented with advanced harmony, Bonzo Squad is sure to bring you to your metaphorical/musical knees with its bold flavors and striking stage presence.

Bonzo Squad is a collaborative ensemble that crosses the boundaries of genre with the virtuoistic abilities of its members.

The music is not only meant to feel good, but allow audiences to lose themselves within it. In 2014, Corbin Andrick asked Andrew Lawrence to join him, Andrew Vogt, and Zack Marks at Lilly's for the weekly house band set.

Soon after Bonzo Squad was born. With Vogt's overwhelming positivity, Marks's back pocket, Lawrence's musical honesty, and Andrick's good vibe leadership, the Squad puts the smiles on the faces, that's for damn sure!

On their new EP, There's Always Tomorrow, Bonzo Squad unleashes rockfish grooves that, while infectious, are never predictable.

1. '83' (02:44)
2. 'Remedy' (06:43)
3. 'Empathy' (01:38)
4. 'Hungry Hungrey Hippos' (01:58)
5. 'iO' (06:12)
6. '#Smaeshtag' (03:47)
7. 'There's Always Tomorrow' (05:29)

The deep jazz funk of opener '83' is a joy to behold and is backed by the more free flowing hipsway of 'Remedy,' with the groove slowing down for the all-too quick 'Empathy.'

Another track under two minutes is the finger-snappin' brilliance of the drum-led 'Hungry Hungry Hippos,' which is followed by the lush dulcet piano work of 'iO.'

The band really come to the fore, in my humble opinion, on the all-in splendor of '#Smaeshtag,' with the EP coming to a close with the intriguing title track, 'There's Always Tomorrow.'
