Title - 'Thunder N Lightning'
Artist - Cloutier

For those not already aware, Syracuse-based brothers Mark and Myke Cloutier are an inspired sound rock team here on their debut album as the band Cloutier.

Released at the tail end of 2018, Thunder 'N' Lightning features ten tracks of pure, high-energy blues and rock magic.

Combining rock-based and blues-flavored original, Thunder 'N' Lightning is a powerful experience not to be missed by fans of blues-rock giants such as Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix and guitar masters such as Freddie King, Johnny Winter and Buddy Guy, et al.

1. 'Flipping And Flapping'
2. 'Whispering Howling Wind'
3. 'Every Little Thing'
4. 'I Call Home'
5. 'Hard Luck Man'
6. 'Down'
7. 'Man on the Mountain'
8. 'Dreaming a Dream'
9. 'Green Eyed Foolish Man'
10. 'Thunder and Lightning'

This quite brilliant new foot tappin' blues album kicks off with the thunderous (all pun intended) 'Flipping And Flapping,' before flying seamlessly into both the down and dirty 'Whispering Howling Wind' and the frenetic, early '60s late night horror flick drive-in vibe of 'Every Little Thing.'

The beautiful ballad 'I Call Home' is next and is followed by the mid-tempo blues rock of 'Hard Luck Man' and then the late '70s British alternative punk scene vibe of 'Down' is brought forth.

The foot-stompin' 'Man On The Mountain' is next and is backed by the storytelling sorrow of loss on the 'Dreaming A Dream.' The old school blues jam sound of 'Green Eyed Foolish Man' make this a stand out for me personally before the album (sadly) rounds out with the throat-wrenching passion of the title track.
