Title - 'Confessions' [Vinyl LP]
Artist - Lunden Reign

For those not in the know, Lunden Reign is an original Big Beat Alt Rock style based out of Hollywood, CA.

Indeed, Lunden Reign was openly inspired by artists ranging from Heart to Nirvana to Evanescence and their synergistic performances are matched by the relentless desire to unleash layers of haunting melodies through uplifting riffs blended with a harder edge and a big beat.

At the foundation of the band are Lora G and Nikki Lunden, the dynamic pair tethered by shared virtues and who also serve as activists in their community.

Lunden Reign released their debut album, American Stranger in 2015, and now they are back with their sophomore release, Confessions.

Keeping it old school, this quite stunning second album will only be released as a limited edition 12-inch color vinyl LP (although there is also a digital DL link available, of course).

Trust me when I say that this brand new record is complete with 10 power house songs that focus on political emotions and empowerment, whilst at the same time making room for a couple o' love songs; done as only Lunden Reign can.

1. 'Stardust Gaze'
2. 'Confessions'
3. 'Coming Home Tonight'
4. 'Red Wagon'
5. 'Little Lost Girl'
6. 'Fate of the World'
7. 'Never Ending Dream'
8. 'Dead Man Walking'
9. 'Thunder or the Rain'
10. 'Faded Memories'

Nikki Lunden's vocals immediately come to the fore on the sumptuously melodic mid-tempo 'Stardust Gaze,' before the tempo is upped for the starker, Eastern-flavored title track, 'Confessions.' The Heart-esque 'Coming Home Tonight' is next and that's backed by some frenetic guitar work from Lora G on 'Red Wagon.'

One of my own personal favorites is the lush '90s vibe of 'Little Lost Girl' which is itself followed seamlessly by another of that same musical ilk, 'Fate of the World.' The uptempo ballad 'Never Ending Dream' precedes another gem here in the ferocious 'Dead Man Walking,' before the album is brought to a close with the gentle(ish) 'Thunder or the Rain,' and then another harken back to the keys of the '90s with the brilliant 'Faded Memories.'
