Title - 'Ao Vivo Em Brasília'
Artist - Henrique & Juliano
For those not in the know quite yet, the duo Henrique & Juliano are the most important name of Sertanejo Music in Brazil in the past 2 years. Indeed, this brand new live album from the duo Ao Vivo Em Brasília stayed on TOP3 for months and the singles released, "Cuida Bem Dela" (#11) and "At Voc Voltar" (#2) were two of the most reproduced songs on radios in 2014/15. Furthermore, both songs got more than 135 MM of views on Youtube!
This aforementioned new album Ao Vivo Em Brasília, which at times has the duo sounding like an old school version of the Canadian band, Barenaked Ladies, was recorded live and features 14 tracks, consisting of old favorites and soon to be new ones also.
1. "Gordinho Saliente"
2. "Até Você Voltar"
3. "Céu Particular"
4. "Eu Me Enrosquei De Novo"
5. "Faz Tempo"
6. "Pra Que Juízo"
7. "Quem Ama Sempre Entende"
8. "Jesus Apaga a Luz"
9. "Sereia"
10. "Às Vezes"
11. "Cuida Bem Dela"
12. "Mudando de Assunto"
13. "Estrelas Cadentes"
14. "É Fake"
From the bouncy opening of 'Gordinho Saliente', backed by screaming horde of en masse of ecstatic fans, that leads perfectly into the soaring ballad 'Até Você Voltar', the drum-influences pop of 'Céu Particular', and both the flamenco-inspired 'Eu Me Enrosquei De Novo' and the mid-tempo 'Faz Tempo'.
The ballad pairing of 'Pra Que Juízo' and 'Quem Ama Sempre Entende' are on deck next, and bringing the life back to the party then comes the fast-paced duo, 'Jesus Apaga a Luz' and one of my own personal favorites on this live CD, 'Sereia'. The pace is brought down, slightly on both 'Às Vezes' and 'Cuida Bem Dela', before the slow, harmonica-driven love ballad 'Mudando de Assunto' is sung. The album then comes to a close with the upbeat, toe tappin' 'Estrelas Cadentes' and then, finally, 'É Fake'.
