Title - 'Big Bang! - Orgasmatron Edition'
Artist - Fuzzbox!

We've Got A Fuzzbox and We're Gonna Use It!! (or simply Fuzzbox!) were an English alternative rock group. Formed in Birmingham in 1985, the all-female quartet originally consisted of Vix (Vickie Perks), Magz (Maggie Dunne), Jo Dunne and Tina O'Neill.

Actually, the band's name was shortened to Fuzzbox! for the U.S. release of their first album, Bostin' Steve Austin, but sadly they disbanded in 1990 after releasing just two studio albums. However, they did reunite in 2010 for a series of concerts, but that was shortlived also!

But now, the four Queens of the Galaxy ride again! Three years, four galaxies and a zillion zany adventures after the release of their debut of their debut album Bostin' Steve Austin the mighty We've Got A Fuzzbox And We're Gonna Use it!! have rereleased the always-impressive musically Big Bang! - Orgasmatron Edition on Cherry Red Records!

Man, growing up I always loved putting this vinyl on the ol' turntable! Seriously, there was always something that made me want to do everything that came my way whilst listening to their collective raw energy re: guitar work and vocals.

And for this follow-up album, gone were the mohair jumpers, day-glo hair and trashy lyrics. In their places were co-ordinated military style uniforms, a refined glamour and a far slicker lyrical production and creativity.

The punk-pop, all-female quartet kick off the first disc of the original album in its original order with 'Pink Sunshine,' 'Fast Forward Futurama,' 'Jamaican Sunrise,' 'Walking On Thin Ice,' and back it with 'Versatile For Disco And Parties,' the first single released 'International Rescue,' 'Self!' (which I have a signed 7" of!), 'Irish Bride,' and both 'Do You Know?' and 'Beauty.'

The second disc, chock full with 17 tracks alone, begins with 'International Rescue (The Orgasmatron Mix),' and powers onwards and upwards with 'Raining Champagne,' 'Barbarella,' 'Raining Champagne (South Soho Mix),' 'Pink Sunshine (The High Octane Mix),' 'Self! (Selfish Mix),' 'Walking On Thin Ice (7" Mix),' and both 'Walking On Thin Ice (X-Static Fuzzmix)' and 'Walking On Thin Ice (Fuzzdub).

This second disc of 12" mixes, b-sides, rarities, CD exclusives, recordings from the Out of This World sessions, and the 2004 Syndrum Mix of Fast Forward Futurama featuring Manda Rin (Bis), continues with 'Your Loss My Gain,' 'You,' a simply wonderful 'Pink Sunshine (Acoustic),' 'Do I Want To,' 'Trouble,' extended versions of both 'Your Loss My Gain' and 'You,' before finally coming to a close with the aforementioned ' Fast Forward Futurama Feat. Manda Rin (Syndrum Remix).'

And, as always most all Cherry Red CD booklets contain some exclusive nice touches. Here it the expanded CD booklet features sleeve notes, complete with original and expanded artwork.
